FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can someone who has never flown before fly?

Absolutely! We are experts in teaching first-timers to fly. In fact, all our "first flight experiences" are exactly that: the opportunity to experience flying for the first time, without any prior experience.

Do I need to book in advance?

You can, and we are delighted to have you visit us, but you might have to wait a while until there is a free slot. That's why we recommend booking in advance, especially during peak times, as there are only 12 spots available every half hour, and you might find there are no free slots (especially if you come with a group).

How do I make a reservation?

All reservations must be made through our website, where you will see all available dates and times once you complete the purchase. Remember, there is no rush; from the moment of purchase, you have six months to make a reservation. You can buy now and decide later when you want to come.

What if someone gave it to me as a gift?

If you received the experience as a gift, first, you should thank the person because it's an amazing gift. Then, you can make your reservation by entering your flight code here.

Where is Madrid Fly located?

We are located at Avenida Nuestra Señora del Retamar 16, in Las Rozas de Madrid (28232 Madrid), in the Európolis area, next to the sports center.

Is it safe?

Flying at Madrid Fly is completely safe. It's like a swimming pool, but with the big difference that we have one lifeguard per person, as you will always be accompanied by a highly qualified instructor certified by Tunnel Instructor. The only thing we take more seriously than providing an unforgettable experience is your safety.

Can anyone fly?

Our experience is 100% adapted for everyone, from people flying for the first time (first flight experience) to skydivers who want to improve their flying skills (pro flyers).

The only three restrictions we have are: if you weigh more than 120 kilos, children three years old or younger, and pregnant women (we also discourage flying if you have had a shoulder dislocation surgery).

If you have any other medical condition that concerns you about flying, we advise you to consult with your doctor beforehand.

Is it really accessible and 100% adapted?

Every aspect of our experience is meticulously designed to promote inclusion and safety, allowing people with different needs to share the magic of flight. Want to know more? Click here.

Is there a minimum or maximum age to fly?

Although our activity is so safe that there wouldn't really be a need for a minimum age, we have set the limit at 4 years old. The reason? At 4 years old, children become more aware of their surroundings, making the experience much more enjoyable for them.

As for a maximum age, we haven't yet found anyone over 86 who wants to experience it, but we are actively looking to invite them to fly for free.

How long does the experience last?

Expect to be at our facilities for a maximum of two hours (if you stay longer, it's because you want to watch others fly, which we would also understand).

You need to arrive an hour before your reservation time to give us time to gear up and receive a theoretical class before entering the tunnel. Then comes the best part, flying! We will have a first flight by turns, serving as an initial contact. Once everyone in the group has flown, it will be time for the second flight, where we will go up to the highest part of the tunnel if we have booked the high flight, possibly the best part of the experience!

Afterward, we will need time to remove our gear, receive our diploma, and calmly view our photos and videos.

But how long does each flight last?

A skydive lasts approximately 40 seconds. We have added 50% more time, making it up to one minute. Additionally, we add 15 extra seconds to each flight so that the time used to enter and exit the tunnel doesn't count within that minute.

Between each flight, we always have rest time to recover energy (and process what we just experienced) while other group members take their turns.

Can I do just one flight?

We always offer a minimum of two flights per person (to be taken in the same session) because we believe the experience would be incomplete otherwise. The first flight serves as initial contact, as it will be a new sensation for all our senses. In the second flight, we already know what to expect and enjoy much more, and we are ready for the high flight if we have booked it.

Can we enter the tunnel together?

Each person needs different flight power depending on their height, weight, and wingspan. So, while the entire experience can be shared with friends and family, we will enter the tunnel one by one for safety reasons.

The only exception is for pro flyers with at least 15 accumulated flight minutes (as long as they have been previously authorized by one of our instructors).

Can I do "whatever I want" inside the tunnel?

Only experienced flyers perform stunts, but some people can do spins, move up and down, and back and forth during their first flight; it all depends on your skills. Our instructors will assess your experience and skills and help you perform all possible maneuvers according to your level.

What should I wear?

Come in comfortable clothing and shoes with laces, so your sneakers don't go flying off (we haven't found velcro sneakers that can withstand our wind power, and flip-flops... let's just say they don't last long in the tunnel).

What if I wear glasses?

If you need them, you'll probably see better, allowing you to enjoy our almost 10 meters of fully glassed height. For us, it's not a problem, as we have special flight goggles that fit over your frames so you can wear your glasses without issues. You can also fly with contact lenses if you prefer; the choice is yours.

Can I accompany my friends even if I'm not flying?

You can, but you risk getting envious and flying too, as our tunnel is fully glassed, and you can have visual contact with them at all times. Just so you know, watching the whole process might make you want to fly as well.
